We are looking for a proactive individual to manage our financial operations and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
- Assist with the preparation of annual tax filings and quarterly tax estimates.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all journal entries are recorded correctly.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records and implement internal controls.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets and forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
