Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15+ diverse clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and payroll coordination
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with SOX compliance
- Develop financial forecasting models and budgetary analysis
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks and SAP systems
- Train junior accountants on GAAP compliance and internal controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public or private sector
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (PivotTables/VLOOKUP)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage high-volume financial operations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Texas CPA license or actively pursuing certification
