Responsibilities
- Manage daily Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and on time.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with payroll processing for a small team, ensuring tax compliance and accuracy.
- Maintain and update general ledger entries using QuickBooks or Xero.
- Prepare and organize financial reports for management review.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) is required.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Experience with payroll systems is a plus.
