Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Assist with month-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support accounts payable/receivable functions and maintain financial records
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes through data analysis
- Collaborate with cross-department teams to resolve financial discrepancies
- Implement and improve internal controls for financial operations
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for efficient transaction processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with analytical problem-solving abilities
- Basic understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
