Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger accounting operations and ensure accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a weekly basis.
- Process and verify accounts payable invoices and accounts receivable collections.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Assist with internal and external audits, including tax preparation.
- Perform variance analysis and financial forecasting.
- Collaborate with department heads to assist in budget preparation and cost control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict weekly payroll deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
