Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for healthcare clients, including claim submission and follow-up
- Resolve complex billing discrepancies and insurance rejections with 95%+ accuracy
- Analyze aging reports and implement strategies to reduce accounts receivable
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure charge capture compliance
- Train staff on billing system updates and regulatory changes
- Generate monthly financial reports for executive review
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and audit trails
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience with ICD-10 and CPT coding
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EMR systems
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC credentials preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with AR management and denial resolution
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Associate degree in healthcare administration or related field
