Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Collaborate with auditors during external examinations and ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risk and enhance efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with public or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Demonstrated experience with month-end closing and financial reporting cycles
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven track record of improving financial processes and controls
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate cross-functionally
