Your Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. Your day-to-day activities will include:
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger accounting and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Perform detailed month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and operational improvements.
- Ensure all financial documentation is organized, compliant, and up-to-date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience in corporate accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
