Role Overview
In this position, you will oversee key accounting functions, ensuring our financial records are precise and up-to-date. You will work closely with management to provide insights and drive financial strategy.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable operations with high accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Perform internal audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and company policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
