Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement process improvements using automation tools (QuickBooks, NetSuite)
- Conduct internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to system upgrades
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Proficiency in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with data visualization expertise
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with remote team collaboration experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
