Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing for 150+ employees
- Conduct variance analysis and budget forecasting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews
- Maintain digital accounting records in QuickBooks Online
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Strong knowledge of Illinois tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
