Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with executive-level insights
- Manage general ledger operations and ensure SOX compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow management
- Lead month-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for strategic decision-making
- Coordinate external audits and maintain internal control documentation
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Proven expertise in month-end closing and reconciliation processes
- Strong GAAP knowledge and regulatory compliance experience
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
