Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 small to mid-sized businesses
- Prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow)
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist with quarterly tax filings and year-end audits
- Implement QuickBooks solutions for new client onboarding
- Analyze financial trends and provide strategic insights to clients
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and state-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of public accounting experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Advanced Excel proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- CPA license or actively pursuing certification
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
