Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll processing, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with actionable insights for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations while maintaining internal controls
- Lead budget forecasting and variance analysis to optimize financial performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning initiatives
- Maintain accurate general ledger with reconciliations for all accounts
- Support audits and financial reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage experience a plus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication abilities for presenting financial data
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Arizona state tax regulations
