Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and annual tax filings.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Support the internal audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
- 3+ years of experience in general accounting (required).
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations (preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
