Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closings and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements and compliance reports for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and maintain general ledger integrity
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Implement and improve financial controls and reporting systems
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Strong GAAP compliance and tax regulation knowledge
- Proven experience with multi-state financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
