Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Process weekly and monthly payroll accurately for all employees.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures and tax preparation support.
- Reconcile credit card statements and monitor expense reports.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing inquiries and account status.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, macros).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
