Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to manage our general ledger, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all accounts are up to date.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support external audits and internal controls implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
