Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with 95%+ accuracy
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Develop and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Maintain compliance with federal/state tax regulations (PA Dept. of Revenue)
- Lead process improvement initiatives using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP and multi-state tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail (<0.5% error tolerance)
- Experience managing financial teams (3+ direct reports)
- Proficient in month-end closing procedures within 5-day cycles
- Valid Pennsylvania CPA license required
