Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle accounting process, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and budget reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and inter-company transactions with precision.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations by assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and reduce financial risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cash flow and improve financial reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
