Responsibilities
- Financial Close & Reconciliation: Lead the monthly and weekly financial closing processes, ensuring all general ledger accounts are accurately reconciled.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the general ledger, posting journal entries, and correcting discrepancies with precision.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage the processing of invoices, payments, and revenue recognition within the specified weekend timeframe.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly financial reports, variance analysis, and management presentations to support executive decision-making.
- Compliance & Audits: Assist in internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and ensuring adherence to GAAP and internal controls.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency in weekend operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Certification: CPA, CMA, or CFA certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
