Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet).
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliations of bank accounts and general ledger.
- Develop and monitor departmental budgets and financial forecasts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification is highly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
