Responsibilities
- Oversee the weekly financial closing process and ensure all entries are recorded accurately in the general ledger.
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for internal review.
- Assist with the preparation and filing of monthly tax remittances.
- Review and approve expense reports and vendor invoices.
- Maintain accurate filing systems for both physical and electronic documents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) as required.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
