Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts and general ledger entries for the weekend period to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring timely delivery.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and internal audits.
- Review and process accounts payable and receivable transactions with a focus on error reduction.
- Collaborate with the full-time finance team to integrate weekend data into the broader financial reporting cycle.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- CPA or CMA certification is a significant plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently during weekend shifts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
