Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Mentor junior accountants and provide financial guidance to cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) to maintain accurate financial records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate finance
- Proficiency in GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in data analysis and modeling
- Experience with QuickBooks and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present complex financial data clearly
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments
