Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for multiple employees, ensuring compliance with Washington state labor laws.
- Prepare and send monthly financial statements to clients.
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax preparation and filing.
- Maintain the general ledger and assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and expense categorization.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a professional Bookkeeper.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with payroll processing and tax forms (W-2s, 1099s).
