Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions weekly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets) for client reviews
- Manage payroll processing and tax filings for 15+ clients
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Implement QuickBooks solutions for small businesses
- Ensure compliance with IRS and state financial regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience required
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proven track record with multi-client portfolio management
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial data
- Weekly pay schedule availability mandatory
