Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Maintain and organize financial records, ledgers, and filing systems.
- Support the month-end close process and assist in variance analysis.
- Prepare and send invoices, ensuring timely collections and maintaining customer records.
- Assist with tax preparation filings and compliance audits as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
