Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with monthly and quarterly closing processes, ensuring timely completion
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision
- Support tax preparation activities and maintain compliance with state/federal regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies
- Contribute to budget preparation and variance reporting
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for efficient record-keeping
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional numerical accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- QuickBooks experience preferred; SAP exposure a plus
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA) candidates encouraged to apply
