Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconciliation: Perform accurate bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial records are up-to-date and error-free.
- Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ledgers, and monthly reports to support executive decision-making.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize advanced accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) to manage financial data effectively.
- Inventory Management: Assist in tracking inventory levels and cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize business expenses to optimize cash flow.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience, with a strong preference for candidates with weekend shift experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Detail Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Certifications: CPAs or Bookkeeping Certifications (e.g., NACPB) are a plus.
