Responsibilities
- Execute month-end close procedures including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Manage weekend-specific accounts receivable/payable cycles with precision
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with external auditors during weekend engagement periods
- Implement and maintain internal controls for weekend financial operations
- Lead weekend tax preparation and compliance initiatives
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes during weekend shifts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of public or corporate accounting experience
- Proven ability to work independently during non-standard shifts
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and weekend accounting protocols
