Responsibilities
- Execute monthly and quarterly financial closings including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with weekend-specific deadlines
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles ensuring weekend transaction processing
- Coordinate with auditors during weekend fieldwork and documentation reviews
- Implement and maintain internal controls for weekend financial operations
- Lead weekend tax preparation and compliance activities
- Develop financial models and forecasts supporting weekend business decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with weekend shift exposure
- Expertise in GAAP and weekend financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel (VBA skills a plus)
- Proven ability to manage high-volume weekend transaction cycles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to weekend reconciliation accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance for weekend operations
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental weekend collaboration
