Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles with weekend-specific transaction processing
- Prepare and analyze financial reports for executive leadership and client stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations during weekend operations
- Lead weekend audit procedures and internal control assessments
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on weekend financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with weekend shift exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in weekend-specific workflows
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and weekend filing deadlines
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions during weekend operations
