Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end closing
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with accuracy and timeliness
- Oversee tax preparation and compliance for federal, state, and local filings
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Implement and improve internal controls and accounting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead audits and ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions)
- Proven track record of managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations (federal, state, local)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial reporting
