Responsibilities
- Oversee daily general ledger activities and ensure accuracy in all financial entries.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Manage bank reconciliations and intercompany account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and ensure full compliance with local and federal regulations.
- Lead internal audit processes and provide recommendations for financial efficiency.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and foster a culture of accuracy and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification is highly desired but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
