Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Process monthly payroll for a small team of 15 employees.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements and budget reports.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax filings and local compliance documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor and maintain fixed asset registers.
- Provide support for internal audits and financial reviews as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and local financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Must be available for on-site collaboration at our Long Beach office.
