Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
- Conduct internal audits to identify process improvements and mitigate financial risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or NetSuite.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
