Key Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end monthly and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Conduct thorough bank and credit card reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve internal controls and financial workflows.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training on accounting best practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• CPA certification or CMA designation is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
