Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy and strict timeliness.
- Prepare complex financial statements and variance analysis reports for executive review.
- Ensure full compliance with US GAAP and all federal/state tax regulations.
- Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
- Collaborate closely with external auditors during annual audits and tax seasons.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement internal controls to mitigate financial risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, client-facing demeanor.
