Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Process payroll and ensure all payroll taxes and filings are up to date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- CPA certification or currently pursuing CPA licensure is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
