Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and departmental forecasts.
- Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Review and approve journal entries and financial documents.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) and MS Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
