Responsibilities
- Analyze financial models for renewable energy investment portfolios using Excel and advanced BI tools
- Prepare monthly variance reports and quarterly board presentations with actionable insights
- Lead cross-departmental forecasting initiatives for 3-5 year strategic planning
- Conduct due diligence on M&A opportunities with valuation modeling
- Develop KPI dashboards for executive decision support using Power BI
- Maintain compliance with SEC regulations and internal control frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts on financial best practices and analytical methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience in investment banking or asset management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, macros) and Power BI
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SEC reporting, and valuation methodologies
- Experience with renewable energy sector investments or ESG financial metrics
- Proven ability to translate complex data into executive-level recommendations
- Excellent presentation skills with experience creating board-level decks
- CPA or CFA designation highly desirable
