Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable operations with precision and adherence to deadlines.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax filings, including 941 and state quarterly returns.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during annual review periods.
- Maintain and organize complex financial ledgers, journals, and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with the management team to provide actionable financial insights and budget recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (required).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CMA designation is strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
- Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP).
- Deep understanding of financial regulations, compliance laws, and internal controls.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for cross-departmental collaboration.
