Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure timely filings.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and inter-company accounts.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and ERP systems.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
