Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and long-term financial forecasting.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Perform internal audits and review financial controls to mitigate risk.
- Communicate complex financial data effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) for daily operations and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in a similar accounting role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and advanced accounting software.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws, GAAP principles, and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
