Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Lead audit preparation processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives through variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Mentor junior accounting staff and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate setting
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Office Suite
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing accounting teams
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
