Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger reconciliation and accounts payable/receivable processes.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the annual external audit process, coordinating with auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance.
- Ensure accurate tax filings and adherence to local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Prepare budget forecasts and variance analyses to support senior management decision-making.
- Maintain and improve internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- Conduct regular financial reporting reviews to identify trends and areas for process improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is highly preferred but not strictly required.
- 3-5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and create insightful reports.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for cross-departmental collaboration.
