Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
- Prepare and process payroll for the organization.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and monthly reports.
- Ensure all financial data is accurate, up-to-date, and securely stored.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts.
- Support the accounting team during the annual audit process.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
