Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Assist in the budget preparation and variance analysis for department heads.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Conduct internal audits and review financial processes for accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or Oracle) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
