Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Prepare detailed financial statements for executive leadership and stakeholders
- Lead budgeting and forecasting initiatives to drive strategic decision-making
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial analysis and audits
- Maintain internal controls and ensure SOX compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment
- Expertise in month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in fintech or high-growth tech environment preferred
- Ability to thrive in urgent, deadline-driven situations
